Giacomo Leopardi School is a Kindergarten-Primary Institute located in downtown Naples. The school counts approximately 600 students aged from 3 to 11 years old and 80 teachers. Every classroom in primary school is equipped with a computer and an IBW; there are also 2 computer labs, 2 theaters, 1 library and 1 gym.
The school consists of a single recently restored building which dates back to the beginning of the XXth.
We also have students with SEN – special educational needs - and specialized teachers.
The teachers are always on the lookout for new teaching methods, in particular new technologies dedicated to arise interest in students, encouraging them to actively partake in the learning process. We are focusing on Coding and Civic Education.
As newcomer, our school would like to start an international growing path.
Its contribution to the project will be:
Participation in the Leonardo Project in the years 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 with the project "INTEGRATION OF INNOVATIVE METHODOLOGIES FOR ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENTS” in partnership with other european higher technical education schools (Romania, Greece, Turkey, Portugal). Participation in the Erasmus+ project in the years 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 with the project "INTEGRATION OF INNOVATIVE METHODOLOGIES FOR ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENTS" in partnership with other european higher technical education schools (Germany, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland).
